The product

• HotKit is a desktop utility for Windows 10 / 11, distributed as a downloadable, portable application.
• Use of the software is governed by its End User License Agreement (EULA). If these terms and the EULA differ, the EULA prevails.
• You can use every feature free for 30 days from the day you start the trial in the software, for any purpose, including commercial use. Each computer may have one trial.
• After the trial, continued use requires a licence. This applies equally to personal and commercial use. Without an active licence, hotkeys and the other features stop working; the settings window and activation stay available, and items already in clipboard history can still be viewed and pasted.

What the software does

• HotKit acts on your behalf: it simulates keystrokes and mouse input, pastes text into other programs, moves and closes windows, starts programs, and can end processes and release file locks held by other programs.
• Scripts and commands you configure run with your own user privileges. Review any script you get from someone else before running it.
• You are responsible for the actions you configure and perform, and for keeping backups.

Licences

• Starting the trial or activating a licence key contacts our licence server once and binds the activation to that computer; after that the software checks the licence offline. A licence can be activated on the number of computers stated at purchase, and you can deactivate a computer in Settings › About to move the licence.
• A licence is issued to one named person (the purchase email encoded in the key and shown in Settings › About) and may be used only by that person. It cannot be transferred without our written consent.
• Licence keys may not be shared, published or resold. Keys that are shared, published, obtained fraudulently or refunded may be blocked, for new activations and in future versions, without refund.

Payments & refunds

• Payments are processed by Creem, the merchant of record for your purchase: Creem takes the payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT and issues your receipt. Creem's terms also apply to the checkout.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. Any tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
• A licence is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It covers the Windows version of HotKit, including the updates we release for it, and does not include versions for other operating systems.
• Every feature can be tried free for 30 days before you buy, so all sales are final and purchases are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If a refund is issued, the licence key is deactivated.

Acceptable use

• You may not redistribute, sell, host or bundle the software without our written permission; share links to the official download instead.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the software, or circumvent its licence checks or trial limits.
• You may not use the software for any unlawful purpose.

Warranty & liability

• HotKit is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for loss of data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for your licence in the twelve months before a claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and the EULA. Changes are noted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of HotKit after a change constitutes acceptance.
